1. What is your go-to makeup product?

BB cream foshooo! I have tons and tons and tons of RED acne scars >.< I'm having very problematic skin, and I really do not know how to make my skin chillax. hahaha BB cream really helps out concealing some of the redness, which is nice since I don't want my face to look extremely "made up".

2. What was your favorite fashion trend of 2011?

Ugghhh. I was never a fashion kind of person. So I guess I really like the Toms shoes. I'm not even sure if this counts as a fashion trend. But I just think that Toms are adorable and comfortable too.

3. What is your favorite dessert?

I LOVE mochi. Especially strawberry mochi which has a big chunk of real strawberry in the middle of the mochi. <3 My favorite ^.^

4. Favorite color?

BLUE~ Most people who see me and know me personally all think I'm a pink type of person, but I actually like blue. Light blue just makes me think of refreshing and calm things.

5. What is your middle name?

Don't have one :P My parents probably already had a hard time choosing my first name, so they didn't even bother to pick a middle name. sighhh.....

6. What was the last song you listened to?

Name and Number by J-Co. I definitely love R&B. It's my favorite type of music. This song has a really nice beat to it. I need to be able to dance to a song...u know shake those hips :)

Something you don't know about me yet:

I gotta admit that I love watching Korean dramas. I have been watching them ever since I was in preschool. The obsession just kept getting bigger and bigger as these dramas became readily available on the internet. However, lately I have been trying to control my obsession because I know this sounds crazy but I always have some withdrawal symptoms after watching a really really good drama. It takes me some time to come back to reality instead of trying to live in the drama. I need to re-watch the drama like at least 10 times and all the behind the scenes clips. sigh..... yaaa Things do not become pretty for me when I watch these things >.<

Hi Everyone!

How has everyone been recently? I'm terribly sorry for not posting any posts recently. Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and a good start of year 2012.

Today I will just be showing my 2011 most favorite products aka my hg items. Feel free to show me your beloved products for last year.

Skin-Type: I have problematic skin >.< I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. Sadly, I have acne on my forehead and cheeks. My face tends to get oily after 5 hours of applying base makeup, so I always bring blotting paper with me.

Bioderma H20

This is a water based multi-purpose item. First, you can use it as a makeup remover for both face and eyes. However, I'm not sure how well it removes waterproof items like eyeliner and mascara, but it is capable of removing eyeshadow like a dream. I remove my Lancome foundation and BB creams with this item, and I can always be sure that my skin will be clean after using this. Then you can also use this as a toner to hydrate and freshen the face.

Etude House Darling Snail Cream

I had purchased this last summer. It has a very light not floral scent, but a refreshing creamy scent. Scents are always hard to describe. haha I find that this cream is easily absorbed into my skin as I massage it onto my face right after applying a toner. My skin just eats it up. I can tell that my skin's acne scars have been ever so slightly lighten.

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream 02

I have been a lover and advocate of BB cream after I used the Skin79 gold-bottled BB cream. However, the Skin 79 had an extreme grayish hue to it. Determined to find a better BB cream, I stumbled across this one. I would say that this one has medium coverage and perfectly masks all the redness of acne marks. It has a more liquidity texture which is perfect for my skin since I am using acne treatments which makes some patches of my skin more dry than normal. YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE THIS BB CREAM WELL OR ELSE YOU WILL GET CLOGGED PORES!

Naked Palette

This is definitely my to go to palette. Though it is a bit annoying that I need to use a brush to apply on the eyeshadows and not to mention clean that brush regularly ( haha I'm sounding pretty darn lazy right? ), I still love this palette. It has all the assortments of neutral colors that I will ever need. The color payoff is phenomenal especially after using the primer potion.

I made a new Youtube Channel. I have been excited to be making videos, even though I may not be too good at it. tehehe

Jealousy?

HEART TO HEART TALK:

To me, feeling jealous about someone (some girl) is the worst feeling ever. The thought that she is prettier, more social, more likable. Once it is in your head, you tend to think about it more and more. It kills you as you are unable to remove that thought that virus away from your head. I tend to over think situations, and I try to become a person I am not.

However, recently I have analyzed my thoughts. What exactly is the POINT of being jealous of someone? Why would you want to become someone you are not? Even if you do strive to become that person, in the end, you will only become the SHADOW. You will never be you. People who surround you like you because you are you. They choose to be with you because you are yourself. DO NOT FORGET.

Korean Haulster: Beware Pic Heavy**

First of all I would like to start out this post with agreeing that Korea is the queen of skincare. I'm not sure if these ladies are just blessed with good skin or if they good at covering it up (thus the birth of my beloved BB creams cough* cough*). I would like to believe that they naturally have good skin. Korea has an abundance of their own cosmetic companies ranging from the infamous Etude House, Skinfood, Laneige, etc etc. Not surprisingly, the prices of their own brands in Korea are definitely cheaper than outside the country. I am just thankful that I was able to venture in the streets of Korea.

A makeup/facial cleanser. It oxidizes to produce bubbles when rubbed on the face.

Now this is a unique one. It produces water drops when applied to the face. The more droplets that are created means that you have successfully hydrated your face~ GOOD JOB*

This supposedly regenerates the skin faster, lightens the color of hyperpigmentation, and reduces the look of wrinkles.

Being the seniors that we are in high school, I decided that we should definitely go to homecoming. I'm ashamed to say that this was my first time going to homecoming, and totally regretted not going previous years. But I have to admit that I am still slowly breaking out of my shell of shyness.

This post will obviously be all about the beauty goodies I purchased during my summer vacation. I actually ended up really limiting the items to get due to the fact that I probably will never end up finishing half the items I get. :) I also feel that Japanese drugstore cosmetics are not cheap period...or it maybe it's because the US dollar isn't worth very much any more. hahaha

The only Naruko item I bought/tried. Really does have a clay texture & also has some exfoliating beads inside.

I had to try the Shu Uemura BB, since it was on sale at the Shu Uemura Outlet for only NT 810 which is roughly 28 US dollars. GREAT DEAL~

Heard too many good reviews on the Koji Liquid Eyeliner, so I had to see what all the buzz was about. Also replenished my fav. lip balm

Went to my local Watsons and purchased some Integrate goodies. I figured that I didn't have that many purple eyeshadows so I chose this color.

The mascara is actually pretty good! I like how it isn't extremely hard to remove like the MM Lash Expander. This is a non-waterproof mascara, so it just basically can be removed with water.

Officially in love with the Maquillage Eyelash Curler. It seriously works wonders on asian eyelashes~ I suffered no problems of pinching. A+++ I was actually surprised to find this in Taiwan since it is only sold on counters in Japan. I bought it from a small store in Ding Hao Ming Dian Cheng which imported Japanese beauty stuff.

I'm pissed about getting FAKE Princess Lee Eyelashes, but I could not find the real ones anywhere!

Now these eyelashes are actually pretty cute! Each box was only NT 250 or around 9 US dollars.

Of course I had to stock up on the My Beauty Diary Masks! When I buy masks, I actually don't really care what each flavor states it can do. For instance, some say that they can whiten or firm the fact etc... All I really care about if the SCENT/SMELL of the masks because after all the different kinds of MBD I've used all they have done is just moisturize my face. So that's the most I expect them to do. :)

I'm finally back home in the States! This summer trip to Taiwan consisted mainly of shopping and eating. Hahaha The best part was eating as my heart desires without gaining any weight, due to extremely humid/hot temperatures in Taiwan. :P

Today I will be sharing my unforgettable second experience at the Melange Cafe.

It was only 3 in the afternoon on a business day, and there were still a TON of people!

But I've been eating a WHOLE lot of delicious food everyday~~Im pretty sure that 10 more pounds of fat will be attached to my body by the end of my trip >.<

Sephora Haul:

Of course when Sephora has their annual 15% F&F sale, I need to pick up some items. I do feel that I am controlling myself in buying makeup. My trick is so repeatedly telling myself that I won't be able to use up the makeup before it expires. For me it really works, so you should try it out too. So from Sephora I basically picked out some essentials that I knew I would use often.

I've been seeing these new Dior Addict Lippes from blogs to youtube. I couldn't resist to try one out.

Packaging is similar to the older version, but larger in size. Nothing terribly special...meh.

The color is described on Sephora as a sheer peachy pink, however I disagree. I believe that the color is a bit more on the nude side. You would definitely need to personally swatch these lipsticks.

Woooo~ Extremely vibrant deep pink. I just read it's color description, and Sephora calls it a "sheer dark pink". lol haha It made me chuckle since it is a contradiction. I believe that this color is perfect for those who actually want some color to show up on their lips. Don't become hesitant to try this one out!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Porcelain

The ONLY reason I purchased this item was due to the fact that Miss Wiggle wrote a very very convincing and persuasive review on it. I think what sold the product to me was the begining sentence where she stated that the Lancome Teint Miracle was not working for her. I realized that the Lancome foundation would oxidize on me into a dirty moldy color, so I have temporarily stopped using it. I just started using this product last week, and I got to admit that I am impressed.

As usual my annual purchase of the L'Occitane Hand Cream for my mother.

Hi all~

I sincerely hope that everyone has been well recently! I just came home and decided to do what I loved doing the most: blogging ( well, i actually enjoy seeing other's blog posts more) ^.^

Today's topic is going to be on Facial Masks~ I'm sure that everyone has heard about the infamous My Beauty Diary Masks (MBD). If not, no worries, I will explain.

MBD is a Taiwanese brand. It relatively cheap considering the number of sheet masks (usually 10 pieces) for it's price.
They have a wide variety of " flavors" for the mask, which all have different targeted effects. For instance, the Strawberry Yogurt mask is used to achieve a clean and clear face while the Aloe Mask is for hydration.

I definitely think that these masks are worth the investment, and definitely suitable for novice mask users~

Very excited to try out the new Limited Edition Damask Rose Ice Cream Mask.

One of MBD new lines called Blooming of Beauty. Mine is a variety pack so it includes all the 6 (including the LE Damask Rose Flavor again) flavors.

I also got MBD's regular mask line's Alice in Wonderland Variety Pack.

The box is so cute~ It's probably going to take me a couple days of just sharing at the box before I become willingly to open it.

I also stocked up on my favorite makeup remover: Mentholatum Medicated Make-Up Removal Wash. ( dang, the name is so long & boring) I'm a creature of habit. Once I find something that works for me, I tend to just stick to it.

At Costco, I also convinced my mom to get the Olay Regenerist Serum and Cream. They both smell soo heavenly~ love love love it~ (well im actually not the one using it; it's my mom's)

Random Pooh Bear keychain~ I used to collect things like these, but now all my stuff are just sitting in my closet.... it's very sad.

New Foundation~

I just finished my first semester finals~~ ^.^ I can finally relaxxxxxx..... and blog about my lame life :]

As you guys may remember from the last post, the Paul & Joe foundation was a tad too dark and contained too much of a yellow undertone. I decided to invest in another foundation since a obtaining a decent complexion is more important than anything else. The first foundation that captivated me was the Lancome Teint Miracle. First of all, it comes in a glass tube another with a pump dispenser which is definitely more sanitary. The foundation is also right smack in the middle of a glowy and matte foundation. I just recently realized that my concept of choosing foundations was totally wrong. Since I have acne and am a combination skin type, I automatically assumed that I should definitely go for a matte foundation to mask the oiliness on my face. However the P&J matte foundation caked up my entire face, especially around my nose. :(

In case you guys are germ freaks or newbies in matching foundations, I learned a really useful way where you swatch and match the foundation on your wrist. ^.^

So far I am loving this foundation and would HIGHLY recommend it.

Ivoire 2C

I bought it for $37 at Sephora.

I went to the Premium Outlets in Southern California where I found the L'Occitane outlet. This product was the only one that appealed to me since I'm not too fond about most of their items' scents. hahaha I think this was around $24. Since my mom paid for it, I forgot the actual price. sorry~

Hawaiian Orchid, Barefoot in Barcelona

These are my first OPI nail polishes, and I am truly amazing with the texture. In the past years, I had never really been a nail polish person, and even if I was, I would only get drugstore or one dollar polishes. I know that OPI is probably not as good as those high-brands like Chanel. But hey, these are definitely WAY better than most drugstore ones, I think.

This color (Barefoot in Barcelona) is my favorite. The color on my pinky is actually the Sephora by OPI in Call Your Mother.

This was a Christmas gift from my friend. She bought me the color FEZ, however I haven't used it yet. It always takes me some time to use a newly acquired item.

I have been currently obsessing over neutral colors.

I ran out of my Garnier Skin Renew cream which worked fabulously on my face. I decided to venture out into other drugstore creams, and came across this. The packaging is just 'meh' nothing special.

If you compare the texture of this to the Garnier, this is definitely has a more thick consistently but more silky texture. I find that this takes a bit longer to be absorbed into my face, but otherwise the effects are pretty much the same.

My colony of acne fighting products. By the way, the Neutrogena toner wreaks of the smell of alcohol. I would most likely not re-purchase the toner again.

It was been a while since I have hauled beauty-related items, so I'm glad to be back on track.

I was requested to do some swatches of the Anna Sui palette, so here it is. I didn't do an EOTD with it, because I haven't found a suitable look yet. The first time I tried out the palette my dad jokingly said it looks like I have a bruised eye. LOL

I don't know if my palette is defected or not, but that lavender color moves around in the pan! O.o I was like "Are you kidding me?"

PSH! So much for being a high-end eyeshadow palette.

NO Flash

The dark purple color is pretty pigmented, however the rest is just OK. Just for your information all of these eyeshadows have a heavy perfume scent. When I say heavy, I mean HEAVYY! So basically it unpleasantly reeks of perfume. As you know Jill Stuart palettes also have a particular smell, but those aren't overwhelming at all.

I went to the mall two days before Mac's In the Groove Collection came out to hold Petticoat. Little did I know that, Stereo Rose was the one that people were hyping up. I seriously thought that people were going to go nuts about Petticoat. I do wish that I picked up Stereo Rose too though. I missed my chance. I feel that whenever I have a chance to buy something I don't, then I end up wanting it really badly when it's all sold out. Causing me to have to hunt it down by all means. Have you guys ever experienced that?

I got one with TONS of veining.

As you guys know, I originally was not a Mac fanatic. However, I feel myself slowly gravitating towards the brand.

The stupid manufacturing people put TWO plastic inserts into my MSF. hahaha

Then I went on Makeup Alley and swapped with Christine for a Mac Marine Life. Once again, I chose not to purchase this when I had the opportunity. sigh.....

Package Number TWO

I ordered something from Adambeauty. My order came in 4 business days, which is pretty darn fast for $2 shipping.

I got the Coffret D'or Spring Collection eyeshadow palette in 04. This one was the one that caught my eye ever since that collection came out. I saw lots of blog posts on this palette, and people seemed to adore it too. ^.^

Though Coffret's packaging is nice, but I absolutely hate seeing my fingerprints all over the palette. oh well. Nothing is perfect.

It is stunning in person, especially the peachy shimmery color in the center.

I went to Target to check out their drugstore makeup~

This is what I came home with~

A new Revlon eyelash curler because the one that I am currently using is getting old, well , the rubber part. I decided to get the black one because it reminded me of the Chanel curler, and it looked kinda bad ass. ^.^ Hopefully this won't pinch my eyes.

Next I got myself the Lash Stiletto, however it's waterproof this time. It was a value pack, so it came with a eyeliner. It states that it is the "Ultimate Precision" Liner, but that's just BULLSHIT. I will show you why in my next post~

As you may know, I have been having acne problems lately. So I decided to the Neutrogena Rapid Clear gel. It sounds pretty convincing, saying it fights and fades acne. I will do a review after two weeks of using it.

I am so excited about getting the Garnier Cream Gel~

I have seen this product in my Tawainese magazines, and on blog posts too. It finally arrived in the US.

I think that the baby aqua color is really adorable. I bought it for $6.99, which personally I think is quite a good deal!

Yo guys!

So I'm back from a long period of time of being absent. ^.^

I think from the couple months of stopping with blog posts; I had time to reflect about all the makeup I have the practicality of each and every one of them. I honesty have to say that the majority of my eyeshadows and blushes are just going to sit there until they basically rot. It's really sad to say this but hey, that's reality. So I'm going to cut back on my spending and probably do a Pan Project.

I was seriously going to write all that on my post but that's bullshit (excuse my language).

I mean, man, I don't think I could ever stop buying makeup and it's an ADDICTION. bwhahahaha I'm going to real and down to earth here, no BS stories and thoughts will occur on my bloggy :)

Nothing has really happened to me while I was gone from the blogging world. BTW I definitely have been reading blog posts while I , myself, was too lazy to write any. I just have to say that I admire those of you for being extremely dedicated to blogging. GOOD JOB~

My birthday happened to be in June and although I was not really looking forward to growing older, my bestie friendy still prepared some gifts for me. I just feel an overwhelming sensation of gratitude within my heart.

She got me the Harajuku summer edition fragrance. I LOVE the doll, perched above the actual perfume.

Then my relatives came from Taiwan to visit us. My aunt completely took me off guard when she surprised me with an Anna Sui eyeshadow palette. She knew that I was into makeup from last year, but I just never knew that she would be the type to handpick out a color.

I was seriously going to get a purple eyeshadow palette too. I've been looking into the Lunasol Lavender Coral palette for the longest time ever, however, I think that this palette will do too. Anyone want me to do swatches?

LOL I got the summer edition Queen magazine ^ .^ Can't believe that the dude with caterpillar eyebrows is on the front cover.

The Lunasol collection is eye-catching.

Finally, I got the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel. However, little did I know that people with acne are not suppose to use exfoliating gels. :( SUCKS

My face has recently broke out again. All of this FREAKIN' acne is killing me. You know, when you get those enormous pimples that hurt like heck when you gently touch em? Well I've got tons of those little babies ._.

I picked up some face cleansers at Walmart. I'm not going to review them though, cuz I know that will the heck out of you :P

OK first of all, about the Kit Kats.....clears throat.....they are honesty not as great and delicious as I had thought. OMG, I can't believe that I'm saying this; I'm probably going to get hater comments. So as I was saying...these chocolates were too sweet for my preference. I'm a dark chocolate kind of girl so yup. Just a heads up for you guys that don't like chocolate that sweet. But I won't ever regret trying them out, just look at the packaging ( too cute ).

LOL I went a little crazy and bought five of them in Mitsuwa.

This is the Mancha (i think) green tea.

My dad BBQ steak for us; he's getting better at doing it every time. Which just means tender and juicier steak for me. hehehe

I went to this Korean Restuarant during my trip down to L.A. It was interesting how you cooked the meat and not to mention the rice paper thing that you wrapped the meat inside was unique. YUMMY.

Went to Pier 39 again with my relatives. LOL They ordered the banana boat thingy, which is definitely not something that I would usually get however it looks so pretty.

Went cherry u-picking sometime in May and most of them were too small for my mom's liking. LOL whatever......

Makeup Collection

I was requested by Nat, my own personal fangirl. hahahaha ^.^ thanks!, to do a post on my makeup collection.

 Well, so I'm just going to tell you guys before hand that you aren't  going to be surprised with my humble collection. >.<

Do you remember this picture from my previous post? So this is where I store my makeup, and I kind of rearranged my things after I took this picture.

My first drawer contains all of my face things that I usually use on a daily basis, except my Givenchy sunscreen is not in the picture. Then I also have some misc. lip products in the back that I hardly ever use.

Next up, I have all my eyeliners, mascaras, and falsies. As of not, I only have MUFE's and Sephora's eyeliners, so I really want to try Urban Decay's, but I just can't bring myself to spend $17 on a liner again. I think that I am starting to like gel liners more than pencil just because of it's ease of application.
*Update* I really don't like the Maybelline gel liner. I think that it is mainly because of the brush that it comes with SUCKS. The brush is not stiff enough and its hairs immediately splits upon application. HATE IT~

Most of my favorite or more expensive palettes I like to put in here. I used to be really strict on putting all my things according to its brand. But now i am not a stickler about that. So I have my two favorite Esprique Precious palettes, SUQQU, Sonia Rykiel, and Jill Stuart.

Then I just have my regular and "blah" eyeshadows. hahaha It's not like I don't like them but they are just OK eyeshadows that I usually don't use. Except for my Coffret Dor, Beautymaker, and Nars. I love those but I don't have that much room to put in my other drawer. hahaha

My blushes, lipsticks, and boxes all belong here. I am a LAZY person so right now, I really like to use my JS blush because then I don't have to take out my separate blush brush. hehehe

I like to have my favorite BB cream and primers placed here.

My HG Givenchy Sunscreen~ It has SPF 50 PA +++ which means that it has the highest SPF any sunscreen could achieve. When you first squeeze it out, it is a little baby pink and it immediately whitens. If you are looking for a sunscreen for the upcoming summer, make sure to check out this one. Since, it is an Asian exclusive item, let me know if you want it and I will probably be able to help you get it.

I decided to get a mascara after going for around 5 months without one. hehehe 

This particular mascara does a fantastic job on curling and lengthening the lashes but fails to volume. However, I still think that it is a great mascara and I might even think that it's better than the Covergirl Lash Blast.

I think that the main reason I really wanted to get this was because it came with a cream eye shadow base. I really really love those bases.

Then I got a Maybelline gel liner in Eggplant. It looks pretty in the jar and I will swatching it on my next post.

Yesterday I went on a shopping trip with my friend and we went to Sephora. I have been eye-ing both the MUFE high definition primer and the Bare Escentuals Eyelid Primer for the longest time ever. I finally decided that it was time to own them. hahaha

MUFE High Definition Primer: 5 Blue (Doesn't look blue at all. right?)
I wanted to either get this primer in purple or blue since the color purple is to counteract the yellow undertone and the blue to help reduce slight redness, freckles, and spots. I figured that my freckles issue was more important then my yellow undertone. Note that the blue primer does not mask the freckles. hahaha wouldn't that be great, all it does it lighten up your complexion.

Bare Escentuals Eyelid Primer
Can you believe that I have NEVER had a eyelid primer until now? How sadd...... hehehe
I immediately opened this up and used this today. The packaging is definitely not as cute as Urban Decay's Primer Potion. However, I like how I am able to twist out the primer while not getting my applicator dirty. For me, to test out how well this primer works is by putting on my Nars Cream Eyeshadow, Corfu. Let me tell you, without primer Corfu creases on me like HELL~ Seriously, 5 minutes later, I got bits and pieces of it suck in my crease and it doesn't look attractive AT ALL. However today, I put it on with the primer and did not crease at all for the whole day. Truly Amazing~

I went to L'Occitane and didn't expect to get anything. However I found this hand cream which is the Cherry Blossom scent and I fell in love. hahaha

I have been extremely busy, overwhelmed with crappy projects. hahaha But during that time, I did not forget to save some time and of course $$$ for a little haul~

I bought all of these things during the Sephora 15% off promotion, which was like a billion years ago!

See how long I have neglected my blog? Sorry guys~ ^.^

I have been getting interested in L'Occitane's skincare line. Before, I did not particularly like this brand just because I hated that way they packaged their items. It is Sooo ugly, plain, and radiates a messy feeling to me.

However now when I look at it, it doesn't seem that bad. :)

I really need an eye cream and choose this one:

Rich in Shea Butter Balm

Off of the top of my head right now, I can name some complaints that I have with this particular item

Smells terrible. An indescribable scent. ewww
After I use it and rub my eyes, it kind of just smears off as if it didn't absorb in my skin.

Overall, pretty disappointed. :(

I also bought another Hand Cream which is going to a gift for my mommy on Mother's Day.

Just wanted to inform you guys that I finished my Garnier Nutitioniste Skin Renew and I love it~ However, I probably won't be repurchasing it soon because I want to try out other brands. This moisture cream is immediately absorbed by my skin and is light enough so my acne doesn't worsen.

Got myself a Dior High Shine Lipstick in Champagne Blush. It's my first one so I'm uber excited to try it out.

I love the golden shimmers infused inside.

Can anyone guess what it is? Well, this is actually ground up pearls in a powder form. Weird right? But it is suppose to make your skin better which makes sense considering that masks sometimes also contain pearl powder. So this is an item that I will just have to wait and see if it works.

Laura Mercier Goodies

Last week a package arrived on my doorstep~ ^.^
I've been waiting for this for the longest time ever. You know that feeling when you get really really excited and just can't help but keeping on looking out the window for the frickin UPS truck? Well, that's what I was like. However the dude didn't even come until 6pm which kept me waiting for like 2 hours. SCREW YOU~ hahaha No, I'm too nice to say that.

My new peeps. I keep on telling myself not to succumb to temptations from all you ladies' fabulous posts on your recent buys. But of course that's definitely NOT possible. I'm just going to let you know right now, my wallet hates you but I luv you! >.-

I picked up the Glided Garden Shimmer Bloc. I wanted to get this shimmer bloc for a whole year now. The funny this is that when I had a chance to get it at my local Sephora; I didn't. I kept on picking it up putting it into my basket and then returning. Finally, I decided to get it again and thankfully the official website still sold them.

The shimmer bloc is soo purtty. I like how the flowers don't have an overspray so after I use it, there won't be an immediate change to it's shape.

Now I'm going to tempt you to buy it :P

Anyways i just think that Laura Mercier has the best service ever~ I didn't even add any codes/or samples to my basket when I checked out online. And when I opened my package, I saw 3 extra items laying around. O.o At first glance, I was like "oh noooo, they messed up my order". hehehe I don't know why they did that, maybe it has to do with a promotion they are advertising right now.

I like it when my hair is kinda wavy. Too bad it's not permanent.

Chic Choc! I was reading my magazines and flipped through this. I remember Fuz saying that Chic Choc was only available in Taiwan now. ummmmm the brand doesn't look amazing but that won't stop me from trying their items someday.
I really want to try the Garnier Aqua Defense but it's only available in Asian countries. I think that all cosmetics should be exactly the same and sold everywhere.

PJ, BB Showdown, Sale!

I have been hooked on Paul & Joe items recently. Which has caused me to start re-watching ALL of Fuzkittie's makeup videos. Sigh......... I don't have a life right?
Paul and Joe offers a variety of makeup, skincare and truthfully their prices are quite reasonable. :) For people like me, who love to buy things when they are on sale. Gorgeous box Eh?

Paul & Joe Eyegloss in Halo is seriously the only item to this day that I have felt was LARGER than I had imagined. I was also excepting a pinker color, but its a good thing that it turned out to be a nice elegant, whitish, frosty pink (nice color combo right?)

For those who have heard that these dry quickly, it is true! Upon one swipe across the eyelids, you have to blend it quickly~

Would be a very good base~

I created a smokey eye look and guess what? the Paul & Joe's elegant shimmers are still very noticeable. If you are in a hurry and need to dash out the door quickly, this eyegloss would definitely become your new best friend! hahaha I feel like I am advertising a product (my bad :P)
FYI for all my eye looks, I never used a eyeshadow primer because I don't have one. :(

Next I opened up my other BB the SKIN 79 one. My first impressions right away was that the packaging was very very pretty and easy to use.

Then I inspected the pump. Ummmmm, truthfully I like to be very sanitary with my makeup and the fact that the pump was designed to not have a cap for the pump kind of bothered me. I really don't want random crap sticking on the pump. :( So I think that the bottle could be improved. Otherwise I am very happy with the packaging. Wait actually another flaw is that how the hell am I suppose to know how much of it I have used already? Ok 2 flaws.... XD

This is a swatch of the Skin 79. A much darker tone which is pretty normal for BB creams to be a tad darker because it will lighten up after you spread it.
CellAlive (left) is a lighter shade with a stronger yellow undertone. The consistency is more flow-ly and liquid-y.
Skin 79 (right) Like mentioned before is darker. It is more like a face cream kind of texture.

They both leave a nice glow to the face. However, I feel like Skin 79 has a better coverage. For example with concealing my under eye circles, it was able to do it better than Cell Alive. Not to mention that CellAlive smells like crap..... O.o (really! it does not smell good at all)
Skin79, in the other hand, reminds me of the floral scent by Paul & Joe. :)

Overall: SKIN 79 WINS THE MATCH!

I really wanted to get the Paul & Joe Disney Face Balls Bambi right after I had gotten the Flower one.
But, of course, it was sold out everywhere. Well I actually had many chances to get it last year but I couldn't convice by Dad to let me use his Paypal. hahaha However, I was able to find BNIB one on MakeUp Alley recently. When these good opportunities pop up, let me tell you, I definitely won't skip it :P

The person who I swapped with, pleomorphic, was so sweet, nice, and patient. GREAT PERSON~

By the way, she also included lots of extras, I mean, who doesn't like to get free new things? right? haha

I got some Tarte Duo Lipglosses. Does anyone know about the brand? I think I have heard about it before but I am not so sure.

I got to admit that I am a sucker for packaging. Anything with adorable characters or anything like that I will GET regardless of whether the actual product is good. But in this case, both the packaging and the blush are wonderful items.

Why do these balls look like little scoops of ice cream to me??!!

I went to the California Pizza Kitchen today with my family~
Let me tell you that it was great! I just have to say that my family hardy EVER goes to restaurants like that, so going there is always exciting for me. I love eating Fettuccine pasta <3>

MAC VIVA GLAM GAGA + Oh jhoy's Giveaway~

I just wanted to start out this post with my recent purchase of the MAC Viva Glam Gaga. So honestly I really don't care if the lipstick turns out like Crap on my lips because I only bought it for collecting purposes, however, there is still a slight chance that I will end up trying it out. :)
Yesterday at the Mac counter in Nordstorm, I was the checking out my lipstick and the SA just started to advertise to me a whole bunch of random lip liners (or things to pair with this BRIGHT pink lippie) but of course I'm not interested!!!! I ended up just telling her that it was a gift because it was fastest way to get her to "shut up". hahahaha

But I just have to say if you plan on getting this lipstick, you better buy it quickly. I am definitely noticing that it is getting sold out quickly. You know, just within a week, there were only 2 little drawers full of them. :(

After reading Dan's post about X-Mas, I was like hey it is almost X-Mas. However, this year I just haven't been feeling very "Christmasy". I am just lacking the spirit....

Anyways today I went to the mall and dang! There were ALOT of people. So I went to the Nars counter @ Nordstorm (nobody was there, everyone was @ the MAC one) with my mom. I was over there to buy a gift for my friend and I also secretly wanted to buy something for myself. But my mom was there and said I already had too much makeup(which i really don't think i do). I think buying makeup has evolved into a psychological issue. I know I don't need anything but I just want it either because it looks cute or just to make my collection bigger. sigh*

But anywho.......these are my new babies!!!

I really wanted to get SUQQU after I heard lots ( I mean LOT) of raves about this brand from soo many blogs! I just had to get my hands on a neutral palette. Then I stumbled across London Makeup Girl's blog. She is an enormous collection of SUQQU! It's sooo wonderful. So I asked her if she wanted to swap and she agreed! :) I decided to get the EX 04 Douku which came out in this 2009 fall collection. I wasn't really sure if I wanted Mancha or D0uku but finally decided on Douku because Autumn Masquerade said to get your hands on this sooner than later if you wanted it. Plus it is limited edition~I haven't sent out her end of the swap yet. Sorry... >.< Thank You Lydia!

The Eyeshadow!!! I haven't used it yet. It is too precious for me too use. Who knows when I will be able to get another palette...
So I am really bad at naming colors therefore I am not going to.

The Loose Powder. I was seriously shocked* when I saw this in the package. This thing costs alot, let alone getting this brand new thing as an extra in a swap!!!! Thank You Again!!!! Now I have 2 powder foundations. Yay!
Just looking at the outside case, the powder looks really fine.

Actually, I haven't used anything yet. I am trying to preserve them "new" until I make a YT video with them. Then I went to Daiso today and picked up a couple of lashes. I officially like the lashes with the black case more. I am a beginner with lashes so the invisible lines work better with me ( if you know what I'm talking about) I heard about some complaints about I heart Cherry Culture (or some name like that...i forgot XD) and good thing I didn't buy any lashes when they had the 99 cent Labor Day Sale. Pheww....
