This week is really dragging and I can't wait until the weekend comes. :P 


I am not sure if you guys know that Paul & Joe recently released their 10th anniversary Kitty Collection. I was super tempted to purchase the blush in the shape of a kitty head but then I know I hardly ever wear blush so I passed that item. It is hard to give up buying a product when you know that you could be one of the "first" people to review it on your blog. Sigh.... All this unnecessary pressure.

Paul & Joe Whitening Serum

• I was finally about to splurge and purchase this item after wanting it for three years. I needed to buy something make my total purchase into exactly $75 since I really wanted that Kitty Pouch. I didn't need anymore makeup so the perfect thing was the Whitening Serum. Look at the gorgeous detail they put into the packaging...faints*

This was my first time buying things from Beautyhabit and overall a very good experience. I tend to not get anything from them because they are located in California which means that I need to pay more money for the taxes. But I think this was well worth it.  :)

PJ, BB Showdown, Sale!

I have been hooked on Paul & Joe items recently. Which has caused me to start re-watching ALL of Fuzkittie's makeup videos. Sigh......... I don't have a life right?
Paul and Joe offers a variety of makeup, skincare and truthfully their prices are quite reasonable. :) For people like me, who love to buy things when they are on sale. The downside is that if you live in California, you still have to pay tax.....

Paul & Joe Eyegloss in Halo is seriously the only item to this day that I have felt was LARGER than I had imagined. I was also excepting a pinker color, but its a good thing that it turned out to be a nice elegant, whitish, frosty pink (nice color combo right?)


For those who have heard that these dry quickly, it is true! Upon one swipe across the eyelids, you have to blend it quickly~



Would be a very good base~

I created a smokey eye look and guess what? the Paul & Joe's elegant shimmers are still very noticeable. If you are in a hurry and need to dash out the door quickly, this eyegloss would definitely become your new best friend! hahaha I feel like I am advertising a product (my bad :P)
FYI for all my eye looks, I never used a eyeshadow primer because I don't have one. :(


Next I opened up my other BB the SKIN 79 one. My first impressions right away was that the packaging was very very pretty and easy to use.


Then I inspected the pump. Ummmmm, truthfully I like to be very sanitary with my makeup and the fact that the pump was designed to not have a cap for the pump kind of bothered me. I really don't want random crap sticking on the pump. :( So I think that the bottle could be improved. Otherwise I am very happy with the packaging. Wait actually another flaw is that how the hell am I suppose to know how much of it I have used already? Ok 2 flaws.... XD



This is a swatch of the Skin 79. A much darker tone which is pretty normal for BB creams to be a tad darker because it will lighten up after you spread it.
CellAlive (left) is a lighter shade with a stronger yellow undertone. The consistency is more flow-ly and liquid-y.
Skin 79 (right) Like mentioned before is darker. It is more like a face cream kind of texture. 


They both leave a nice glow to the face. However, I feel like Skin 79 has a better coverage. For example with concealing my under eye circles, it was able to do it better than Cell Alive. Not to mention that CellAlive smells like crap..... O.o (really! it does not smell good at all)
Skin79, in the other hand, reminds me of the floral scent by Paul & Joe. :)

Overall: SKIN 79 WINS THE MATCH!

MUA Swap~

I really wanted to get the Paul & Joe Disney Face Balls Bambi right after I had gotten the Flower one.
But, of course, it was sold out everywhere. Well I actually had many chances to get it last year but I couldn't convice by Dad to let me use his Paypal. hahaha However, I was able to find BNIB one on MakeUp Alley recently. When these good opportunities pop up, let me tell you, I definitely won't skip it :P

The person who I swapped with, pleomorphic, was so sweet, nice, and patient. GREAT PERSON~

By the way, she also included lots of extras, I mean, who doesn't like to get free new things? right? haha

I got some Tarte Duo Lipglosses. Does anyone know about the brand? I think I have heard about it before but I am not so sure.

I got to admit that I am a sucker for packaging. Anything with adorable characters or anything like that I will GET regardless of whether the actual product is good. But in this case, both the packaging and the blush are wonderful items.



Why do these balls look like little scoops of ice cream to me??!!





I went to the California Pizza Kitchen today with my family~
Let me tell you that it was great! I just have to say that my family hardy EVER goes to restaurants like that, so going there is always exciting for me. I love eating Fettuccine pasta <3>

Huh.....WHAT it's almost X-Mas?????

After reading Dan's post about X-Mas, I was like hey it is almost X-Mas. However, this year I just haven't been feeling very "Christmasy". I am just lacking the spirit....

Anyways today I went to the mall and dang! There were ALOT of people. So I went to the Nars counter @ Nordstorm (nobody was there, everyone was @ the MAC one) with my mom. I was over there to buy a gift for my friend and I also secretly wanted to buy something for myself. But my mom was there and said I already had too much makeup(which i really don't think i do). I think buying makeup has evolved into a psychological issue. I know I don't need anything but I just want it either because it looks cute or just to make my collection bigger. sigh*

But anywho.......these are my new babies!!!
